I feel like this is where I always belonged
My journey with the Quran through Rihla has been an incredible experience, and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of it. The explanation of the Quran by Huma Apa was nothing short of inspiring. She has a unique ability to bring the verses of the Quran to life. Even on days when I felt tired or sleepy before class, her captivating way of teaching would instantly awaken my attention, Alhamdulillah.
Moreover, the various activities and initiatives organized by Rihla are truly impactful. They focus on benefiting society in a holistic way, addressing both spiritual and practical aspects of life.I wholeheartedly recommend this Quran course to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of the Quran and experience its transformative power.
Aaisha Amir’s full command on Arabic Grammar & Tajweed rules makes her a Tafseer teacher Par Excellence. Thus she presents Tafseer from all angles. In addition her tafseer explanations presents the ground realities of our times, the challenges faced by our youth & faced by everyone. She also relates with the developments in Social sciences, Neuroscience & science.
The Team that looks after Ta’meer Program is amazing! May Allah swt accept all the efforts of our teacher Aaisha Amir & of Ta’meer Team and give them loads of ajar. Ameen Suma Ameen. I would give the course a rating of 5 out of 5 plus many many stars!
This course was an incredible journey of spiritual growth, self-reflection and my deep connection with Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Through this course I haven’t just learned the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala but also experienced their impact, support and comfort in my own life. The Quran is a true light and guidance.
Some days were challenging in this course but that taught me patience and the importance of striving in the path of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. I felt that every verse, each verse is a personal message, a reminder for me, a source of comfort in difficult times, a friend in loneliness and my best companion and a source of peace. I pray that the Quran will continue to be our guide in shaping our actions, our characters and transformation of our heart and soul.

While I found Perceptions classes very informative and interesting, the best part is the class environment. My classmates & I have grown close as we learn more about our religion together. Going to Perceptions has become my favorite part of the week.

Perceptions is an amazing & interactive course where the teachers and Youth Leaders are super nice. I realy look forward to Fridays because I get to go to Perceptions. It’s a space where I feel comfortable opening up knowing I won’t be judged.

I completed the 18 month online Fahm Ul Qur’an course followed by the Fahm Ul Qur’an Advance course conducted in affiliation with the Al Ilm Institute in Karachi, Pakistan. This Quran course was an enlightening and fulfilling journey and I must admit that it has been undoubtedly the most rewarding experience of my life. The knowledge I gained has not only improved my understanding of Islam but also inspired me to live according to its principles with more sincerity and mindfulness.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their connection with the Quran, regardless of their prior knowledge or experience
An era where many young people are drifting away from Islam, my three children—Hana, Awad, and Aiza—have completed their Quranic studies at the Maktab. The youngest is in her final year. Despite the challenges of today’s world, they have cultivated a deep sense of love and reverence for Allah. Before embarking on any task, they reflect on the afterlife, align their actions with their faith, and strive to do everything for the sake of Allah.
My 2 years at Perceptions have been an incredible journey of growth an connection. I’ve made wonderful friends and had the privilige of learning from supportive teachers and fun interaction with my Youth Leaders. The food is deleicious too! I look forward to spending time at Perceptions.
