Our Inspiration
مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْع
سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّئَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيم
The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. (Al-Baqarah: 261)
Compassion, giving, philanthropy – are weaved in the ethos of the deen of Islam.
What is Sanaabil?
Sanaabil, literally means “ears of corn” or “grains.”
It embodies the essence of abundance and sustenance.
It is a testament of the principle that every individual deserves nourishment of the body, mind, and soul
Our Goal
To preserve human dignity and provide equal opportunity for building prosperous and healthy lives for all – regardless of their socio-economic situation, and political or religious beliefs.
Our Objectives
- To reach out to the underprivileged & “invisible” members of our communities in Karachi.
- To empower individuals and families to break free from the cycle of poverty.
- To enable return to self-sufficiency to white-collar households.
- To foster a sense of worth in individuals and communities.

Education
Education is the key to unlocking the potential that lies dormant within every individual.
Sanaabil facilitates educational opportunities, vocational trainings, scholarships, and resources, for children and adult.
"Say, ‘Are those who know equal to those who do not know?’ Only those who possess intellect take admonition."

Food scarcity is the basis of stunted physical, psychological and emotional growth.
Sanaabil is committed to combating food insecurities by providing nutritious meals, food assistance programs, and sustainable solutions to hunger-related challenges.
"And they give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, ˹saying,˺ ‘We feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you."

We believe that A healthy body is the foundation of a productive life.
Sanaabil works to ensuring access to essential healthcare services, medical treatments, and preventive care.
"And when I am ill, it is He (Allah) who cures me."

Shelter is a basic human need that provides safety & security from external elements.
Sanaabil is committed to providing essential house repairs for vulnerable families and improving the living conditions of orphanages.
"And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest..." (Surah An-Nahl 16:80)Clothing
Proper clothing provides covering, warmth, dignity and sense of well-being to a person.
We aim to ensure access to essential apparel ans offer practical support by distributing quality clothing.
"O Children of Adam! We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness is best."

It is a proven fact that our physical environment has a deep impact on our psyche, growth, well-being, spirituality and productivity.
We focus on facilitating potable water solutions, tree plantation to combat climate change, cleanliness drives in urban residential areas, facilitating uplift of local ecosystems.
"And do not cause corruption on the earth after its reformation..." (Surah Al-A'raf 7:56)Adopt a Family
A lifeline for struggling white-collar families, offering tailored support for 6 to 12 months.
Our goal is to address critical needs like monthly food rations, school fees, and medical expenses.
"And they ask you about what they should spend. Say, ‘The excess (beyond your needs).’ Thus Allah makes clear to you the verses that you might give thought."
